Duties /Responsibilities (Including Objectives of the role):

Based at our Head OReporting accurate, timely financial information to the finance department, key stakeholders and budget holders

Role responsibilities:

  • Accounts preparation & P&L for allocated areas for the business
  • Balance sheet reconciliations
  • Load payroll journals
  • Run month end reports for financial accounting team
  • Prepare and submit VAT returns for UK subsidiaries
  • Review, investigate and correct subsidiary data submissions
  • Ad hoc financial reporting for UK and US subsidiaries
  • Budget and forecasting for UK and US subsidiaries
  • Preparation of monthly management information
  • Preparation of quarterly board reports for UK and US subsidiaries
  • Cover for treasury function including daily bank reconciliations, cash book completion and daily bank reconciliations
  • Assist with other general financial reporting requirements that may arise from time to time within the finance department    

Qualifications and Experience (Essential & Desirable criteria):

Essential Competencies:

  • ACCA or CIMA level 2 qualifications – Studying for ACCA or CIMA is also acceptable
  • Confident with Microsoft Excel (i.e Pivot Tables, Look Ups and What Ifs)
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to interact with a range of different stakeholders
  • Accurate with a strong attention to detail
