Duties / Responsibilities (Including Objectives of the role):
Key Role Duties and Responsibilities:
 
To provide a high quality IT Service to the business by effective management and control of the IT environment and specialist support organisations.
 
  • Technical resolution of IT Service incidents
  • Liaison with specialist support organisations
  • IT Service input to new requirements and technologies, for consideration at Lotus
  • Technical input for system maintenance and outages
  • IT Service Policy and process definition and enforcement
  • Implementation of IT Change requests
  • Adherence to IT Service processes and procedures
  • Adherence to IT Change processes and procedures
  • Adherence to IT Security processes and procedures
  • Support documentation for BAU take-on
 
 
Qualifications and Experience (Essential & Desirable criteria)
Essential Criteria:
 
  • ITIL v3 awareness
  • Windows desktop operating systems (Windows 10, 7, XP, 2000)

  • CATIA V5 or V5-6 deployment

  • Linux/Unix Scripting (bash/ksh/sh)

  • Linux cluster environment including queue management

  • Deployment of CAD/CAE/PDM software

  • Fluent English spoken and written

  • Advanced PC skills

  • Wide experience in administering IT systems, providing 2nd/3rd line support, with medium/large environments
  • Willing to work outside of normal working hours, on call, including weekends (at least once a month)
