Duties / Responsibilities (Including Objectives of the role):
Management of supply base quality activities for programmes ensuring both proactive and reactive actions are in place to assure production of OK parts for Manufacturing and Projects.
Main duties of the role includes:
Supplier Audit/Assessment
  • To ensure supplier audit/site assessments conducted against Plan for Series Production and Products
  • Drive resolution of open issues raised by team
Supplier Development
  • Agree supplier development activity plan with internal stakeholders
  • Ensure team achieves plan and PPM / Quality improvements achieved
  • Report out KPI's and status within Lotus and escalate issues as required
New Part Introduction and Supplier Preparation 
  • Develop Quality Planning (APQP)/PPAP activity plan for new projects
  • Report approval status at Lotus project reviews and gateways including key issues resolution 
Project and Production Support 
  • Interface between Lotus factory/Parts Quality and SQA team to ensure issues are prioritised and addressed
  • Root cause analysis/Troubleshooting at suppliers to ensure continuity of supply of assured parts
Qualifications and Experience (Essential & Desirable criteria)
Essential Criteria:
  • Qualified to degree level or equivalent.
  • Automotive OEM or 1st tier supplier SQA experience.
  • Sound knowledge of APQP systems and procedures.
  • Full UK driving licence or equivalent.
