Duties / Responsibilities (Including Objectives of the role):
 This role is responsible for the creation, execution and continuous improvement of Programme governance, reporting and NPI process improvement activities across all Lotus programmes from pre-programme planning through to programme completion. This role provides direct management of the Programme Business Office team and will lead wider x-functional teams to ensure all stakeholders are engaged and aligned with the business requirements.
This role will lead the core programme management function for Lotus Cars, ensuring that the company has the required processes and procedures, governance, reporting and analytics to enable the controlled delivery of all vehicle programmes. Key areas of responsibility include:
  • Responsible for the roll-out of the new NPDS product development process, the continuous improvement of it and adherence to it. 
  • Create and manage the core programme governance reviews and ensure a consistent and clear approach across all vehicle programmes. 
  • Develop the detailed programme management and associated processes and roll-out to the PMO team and wider business to deliver best-in-class product delivery efficiency. 
  • Create and manage the core programme KPIs across all vehicle lines and ensure these are clearly communicated through a dashboard or similar BI approach enabling data driven decision making and management.
Qualifications and Experience (Essential & Desirable criteria)
 Essential Criteria: 
  • Degree qualified in a scientific discipline or equivalent exceptional experience.
  • Demonstrated leadership in a x-functional programme environment.
  • Strong process and governance understanding within an engineering project environment. 
  • Team management and mentoring.
  • Presentation skills.
  • Programme delivery and process development experience.
